Hope.

We work with play schools, special schools and orphanages, providing books and toys to underprivileged children. 

The Ashoka Tree gives hope where there is otherwise none - we prove that there are still people who care.  That books and toys, clothes and food are not a luxury.

Love.

The Ashoka Tree works with the underprivileged and the homeless.  We work in the Isolation Wards and Destitute Wards of General Hospitals, providing bed linen, nightwear, toiletries and sanitary pads.  We also share donations in areas where there have been natural calamities, providing clothing, blankets and funds for medication.  

We understand that there's more than enough love to be shared around and it is through our actions that we pay it forward.

At The Ashoka Tree, we take responsibility for our actions as human beings, invoking the need for a change in our attitude towards each other and people who, quite certainly, deserve better.  Love is, after all, so much more than just a four-letter word.

Happiness.

At The Ashoka Tree, we provide sources of income for marginalized women and families, giving them the opportunity to earn a livelihood through the sale of re-cycled & up-cycled donated items.  

We share toys and outdoor games with our special children and look for ways of spreading what we tend to, so often, take for granted - our happiness.
