While 4th graders in The Choice School were busy making diyas and paper bags, filling them with candies, crayons and coloring sheets - Kumari Teacher was getting her anganwadi ready for those children to visit ahead of Diwali
. The Choice students distributed the goodies, lit a lamp and interacted with the tiny tots. As a surprise, Vice Principal Ms. Nalini Subramaniyam, had a flute player/ cartoonist entertain the children for about an hour.. This was all about having each of these children from a 'big' school experience what it's like to ‘share’ with others who are strangers, seeing life through another lens as it were - understanding what it could be for other children.
