It's not how much time you spend, but what you actually do that makes a difference. Life today is all about what "I" am doing today and what "I" want or plan to do tomorrow. It's been 3-1/2 months since the floods wrecked havoc and changed everything here in Kerala. It's taken that much time for everyone to get back on their feet again, have houses & play schools plastered and repainted, and get clothes and food in every home. However - there's still a lot of work to be done in terms of getting back to where we were before. Thank you to everyone who contributed for the mats and registers for our anganwadis in the Vadekkekara panchayat, in North Paravur, Kerala. There are still 450 children here without books, crayons and toys - if you have some to donate or would like to contribute so we can buy them some - do get in touch with us! #donate #helpKerala #volunteer Let's keep those smiles going here at The Ashoka Tree with all the children we work with today and all those many more we will be working with tomorrow.
